Flag Luxury restored and modernized this 210-room historic landmark into the area’s newest luxury lifestyle hotel. Situated in the heart of South Beach, the Art Deco masterpiece was originally designed by Polevitzy + Russell and updated in the 1950s by the legendary Morris Lapidus but had more recently devolved aesthetically as a condominium hotel. Flag Luxury acquired 210 condo units, and subsequently completed an extensive $90 million restoration in 2014 that brought modern amenities while bringing back its original glamour. Now a premier destination, the hotel has achieved AAA’s Four Diamond status.
